Nuvap collaborates with us by carrying out parallel tests in the offices, to evaluate the impact of our products. It is also a partner in the project of a new Cleaning Station, designed to contain an ad hoc monitoring module. Nuvap is a company and a pioneer in the management of pollution, and was born with the aim of promoting health in indoor environments, providing its customers with a reliable platform for monitoring and offering reliable data to both institutions and the scientific world. In 2017 Nuvap was awarded the Edison ‘Best Smart Home Technology’ Pulse award, while in 2019 it won the eHealth4all award, as the best technology for the prevention of health problems related to pollution. The University of Bari offers us irreplaceable support through the figure of Gianluigi De Gennaro and his tireless team. Their research on indoor air pollution guides and inspires our work. De Gennaro is a professor of environmental chemistry, president of the University Center of Excellence for Innovation and Creativity and coordinator of the BALAB – Contamination LAB of the University of Bari. He is part of the VIA-VAS Commission of the Ministry of the Environment and status manager of the ARPA Puglia atmospheric particulate and olfactometry unit. He is currently an assessor for the Ministry of Education and for the Ministry of the Environment. Together with his team (Prof. Mariaconcetta Depinto, Ph.D. Jolanda Palmisani, Ph.D. Alessia Digilio) De Gennaro analyzes the relationship between Cleaning Station and pollution, quantifying the impact of our products on indoor air quality.
